if you could, it will lag on the lowest settings at 800 by 600
All the newest 2007-2008 games all run better on multiple core processors. Yes your system will meet the minimum requirements but barely. I realize that the 2.13 GHZ XP processor is still fast but you need the extra core or cores of a multi core processor, for the newest games multitasking demands. Also Crysis is a DirectX10 game and the only cards today that play DirectX10 are the 8000 series GeForce cards. You do not need DirectX10 to play it but if you want that capability then you must have the 8000 Geforce cards from nvidia. Download the demo from download.com and see how well your system handles the demo Crysis game and take it from there. Good Luck.Crysis Requirement?
Simple Answer...Hell No...the average person spends $2000 on upgrades just to play Crysis...This means buying the top of the line hardware for everything in a computer just to play it at descent Frame rates...Since your running XP it will run better than DX10...however you will need atleast 2 gigs of Ram...An Intel Core 2 duo...atleast....that is a newer one such as an E8400 or E6750..etc..or a quad Core processor such as an Q6600....A freaking way better graphics card...somewhere around an 8800GTX / 8800GT/8800GTS G92 or if you are an ATI fan atleast something like an 3870...and since you are running all that old hardware your motherboard is prolly old...so most likely a new motherboard too...so get ready to cough up $2000 bucks...because youll need a completely new system to be able to play it...sorry about the bad news...if you need anymore help on deciding what to buy feel free to ask...i just built a new system to play crysis so i can be of some help Good Luck
According to them, you need a X800 Pro or betterCrysis Requirement?
No, it isn't really close, even if you could, it would be at the lowest settings
i think $2k is a bit much just to play crysis. i used to have a computer that was worse than yours and i spent $450 in upgrades and it plays crysis at 50 - 60 fps on medium. it chokes on high settings, but plays great on medium
