Why can I barely run Crysis 2 on pc..my specs EXCEED requirements?

I just picked up Crysis 2 for PC and for some reason I hopped in a multilayer match and the game was having some trouble running. Very laggy (wasnt server lag I can tell) and slow response time etc.



I've been playing Homefront, MW2, Rift, and games like that on all maxed out settings fine on a 1920x1200 huge resolution.



My pc specs:

Intel i7-870 (2.93 GHz 1333MHz 8MB)

ATI Radeon HD5570

8GB PC3 DDR 3 RAM

1TB HD



My pc excels past the minimum requirements to run Crysis 2. Under "Graphic" in game I had it set to "high" which seems to be the "lowest" setting for graphics.



Any ideas?Why can I barely run Crysis 2 on pc..my specs EXCEED requirements?
Your processor and RAM are great. The 5570 Radeon however is a lower end video card and not well suited for graphic intensive games like Crysis 2

Just because a video card exceeds the minimum specs, does not mean it will play well, especially at high resolutions like 1920 x 1200
